I was born and raised in Michigan, graduating from Michigan State University with a degree in marketing. Shortly after graduation, I started working at Neiman Marcus, where I gained valuable experience in the luxury goods industry.

After spending four years in Atlanta, I moved to New York City, where I met my future husband. I spent the next 30 years working in luxury goods marketing and public relations, accumulating a wealth of knowledge and experience in the industry.

In 2001, when my husband accepted a position at Mayo Clinic, we relocated to Rochester, Minnesota. I have three adult children, all of whom have pursued their own careers since leaving the nest.

With the house to myself, I embarked on a real estate career with Sotheby's International Realty. Scottsdale, Arizona is my second home, and as a licensed realtor in both Minnesota and Arizona, I apply my expertise in luxury home marketing to both states. I am a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS) and I leverage my decades of experience in luxury goods in my real estate profession.

In addition to real estate, I am also a yoga teacher, a passion I have pursued for many years. I love cooking, though I admit I'm not fond of the cleanup afterwards. Gardening is another hobby of mine, although I struggle to keep my plants alive, earning me a "black thumb." My go-to beverages are wine and coffee, and I avoid going to the movies because I tend to fall asleep. I also have an irrational fear of escalators and car washes, which I've never quite managed to overcome.
