Welcome to Desert Mountain
Greetings to the Desert Mountain Real Estate community, 2024 for Desert Mountain Club was a year full of new amenities, new Members and new ways to have fun! We started the year with the opening of our Renegade Clubhouse and Hideout, the largest dining amenity on the Mountain. Throughout the year, we also created a brand new "Bark Park" for our canine friends, more pickleball courts for our constantly growing leagues, and a complete restoration of Cochise Golf Course, former site of The Tradition golf tournament and the Charles Schwab Cup. In addition, we upgraded and expanded our Cochise-Geronimo Golf Practice Facility with Toptracer technology to provide even greater enjoyment for our Members and their guests.
Real Estate Update
From a real estate perspective, more than 110 homes on the Mountain were sold during 2024, meaning lots of new Members were introduced to our Desert Mountain community family. Interest in joining Desert Mountain remains strong. There are currently more than 131 properties available, and 74 of those properties have a Club Membership. In addition, please remember that all homes within the Seven Desert Mountain Community all offer memberships. For those who are interested in a property which currently does not have a Membership available, we continue to encourage you to schedule a visit for your clients with the Membership Sales Team to learn about the Membership approval process and wait list process.
Wait List Update
The Wait List currently has 45 applicants who have been approved but are waiting for a Full Golf Membership to become available. Good news is most of them have received a temporary Lifestyle or Seven Golf Memberships allowing social, dining, and recreational opportunities. As a brief reminder, the Wait List is comprised solely of Desert Mountain homeowners, current Members who wish to upgrade their Membership category, and Desert Mountain lot owners with a City of Scottsdale building permit. Desert Mountain lot owners who have not yet obtained a City of Scottsdale permit are prioritized behind the previously mentioned categories.
